Here are some of the stones I regularly stock along with their Native American meanings. The pictures are typical of the stones, and not necessarily what I have in stock. The "meanings" are those that have been handed down, and are not intended to substitute for medical advice. Just consider it the folklore of the stones.

Black Freshwater Pearl A deep, iridescent grey. Overcoming giddiness, aid intestinal disorders, stomachs forgiveness, smooth over an irritation.
Blue Topaz Crystal clear, almost like glass. Very light blue stones. Calmness, hypertension, relief, thyroid balancing down.
Carnelian Nice amber and goldeny-red tones. Grounding, power, protection, sexual energy, dispels depression, thyroid balancing, up energy, overcoming inertia adrenal glands, stimulation, laziness, calms anger. Worn to stimulate fluency of speech, development of courage.
Fluorite Soft pastel colors in a matte, translucent stone. Soothes emotions, strengthens thoughts, energy, grounding, wards off negative, place with coin for strong transmutational powers.
Freshwater Pearl Irregular, freshwater pearls with that lustre. Pearls have traditionally represented purity, innocence and integrity. Overcoming giddiness, aid intestinal disorders, stomachs forgiveness, smooth over an irritation.
Garnet Since the Victorian era, garnets have been a symbol of passionate love and enduring strength. Colors are more on the dark wine side. Love, faith, friends, faithfulness, devotion, healing, protection, sleep, mystery, past life ailment, memory, forewarning, impending danger, losses it’s luster when in danger or threatened. Blood disorders.
Jade African Jade can vary from very light green to deep avocado shades. Justice, wisdom, protection, business, love, healing, balancing stone, problem solving and detection, knees, mercy, courage, modesty, burial offering, weapons, soothes nervous system diseases, eye sight, dispels negativity, promotes clearing vibrations, consciousness raiser, establishes linked mental layers, increases intelligence, encourages purity of thought if worn. Prevents nightmares, calms fevers from kidney disorders. Green and lavender can safely be worn at anytime.
Jasper Intricate circular 'leopard' markings contrast with tawny deep brown tones. Healing, beauty, protection, courage.
Malachite Lovely shades of green with streaks. Luck, peace, protection, love, power health, business success, patience, self control, teeth, poisonous if taken internally, colic, cramps rheumatism, tone up muscles, prevents cramping intestines.
Onyx Glossy, solid black stones. Gathering information, good for the feet.
Rose Quartz Soft pink, translucent stones. Healing, happiness, attracts love, enhances love, fidelity, gentleness, very mild cardiac stimulant
Snowflake Obsidian Glossy black stones with streaks of grey and white. Healing, Protection, divination, grounding, peace, Balance. White is Yang and black is Ying.
Sodalite Glossy blue stones with flecks of white. Ranges from dark blue to light blue. Calming, peace, wisdom, healing.
Tiger Eye Deep brown stones with caramel stripes that move with the lite. Concentration, focusing energy, medulla brain, headache relief, courage.
Turquoise Natural turquoise chips vary a lot in color and in streaking. Most are a light celadon with medium brown streaks. I do not use the dyed turquoise! Ancient wisdom, creativity, imagination, courage to speak truth, seeing into body parts, protection, contact plant spirits. Protection from evil eye. Guards against black magic. Past life recall, true love. Wear or carry for communication with grandmother earth. Repels negative thoughts, pattern or harmful situations if worn. Unakite A relatively new gemstone, the green is associated with healing, and the pink associated with the heart--hence it is considered important in heart problems. Thought helpful in diagnosing elusive illnesses and help get to the root of the issue. Heart problems. Also associated with the elbow. Increased weight gain. Healthy pregnancy outcomes.
